About Kawser Ahmed

I am an Advocate practising in the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. My practice area includes constitutional remedies, dispute settlement, international law, and human rights. I have served individual clients, companies, government corporations, statutory entities, foreign investors as a lawyer in both contentious and non- contentious matters. I have worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh (MoFA), ILO, UNDP, IDLO, and the National Human Rights Commission of Bangladesh as a legal consultant on matters relating to international law and human rights.

In addition, I teach the law and practice of the International Court of Justice as an adjunct faculty at Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka. My research interest includes constitutional law, international law and organisations, and international dispute settlement. I regularly contribute essays and opinions to newspapers and blogs on current legal issues.
